The 2012 Girls Go Surfing Day returns this January with more than 6000 female participants Australia-wide!
The program encourages non-surfers and beginners of all ages to get out in the water with their friends and enjoy a day of fun, fitness, surfing and sun.
A healthy lifestyle of fitness, nutrition and well being is so important, and so the Girls Go Surfing Day has teamed up with Aussie teen surfing sensation Nikki Van Dijk to spread the word.
"It's such a fun program for girls to get into, especially young ones," Nikki said. "It's the right program to allow the girls to get together with their friends, have fun and learn in a safe environment and also not worry about what the boys have to say."
On top of learning how to surf, all participants will walk away
with a goodie pack which includes a Rip Curl beach bag, $20 Rip Curl
voucher, GGSD t-shirt, sunscreen and a DOLLY magazine.
